FANTOM is a 10 story luxury development located on top of the famous oxford street in white rock. This location gives the 25 prestigious homes an impeccable south view of the ocean. These factors attribute to the high price tag of each unit and consequently the direction of the branding. The name itself eludes to a Rolls Royce vehicle one of the most fashionable automotive companies ever. These brands have overlapping markets which was the reason to use the name, the other elements are inspired by a time of class and prosperity. Art Deco played a major role in creating the visuals for the campaign. The gold boarders and illustrations are a direct reference to the period, a time when everyone wore hats and luxury was prevalent. The addition of a character was to personify the target market, as an illusive creature who persevered through the metaphorical woods of life and not only survived but thrived. Ultimately the goal was to create campaign that was market appropriate but different from the competitors while working within a smaller budget. This was achieved with the nomination and winning of multiple local and national home builder awards.
