Hi Everyone! My name is Andrew and thank you for visiting my site. I hope you like art and design, because that is all I do.
Hailing from Richmond, British Columbia, Andrew Talbot’s early years were marked by exploration across the province—soaring through the skies, traversing land, and navigating the seas with his family, armed with a collection of art supplies. As Andrew matured, so did his fervour for art, propelling him towards a relentless pursuit of excellence in his chosen crafts. This dedication culminated in securing the highest art award and scholarship during his high school years, followed by the prestigious Master of Tomorrow award from NSCAD in 2015, the culminating year of his BFA studies at the same institution.
While drawing inspiration from the scenic beauty of his homeland and the artistic heritage preceding him, Andrew initially dedicated a significant portion of his career to painting landscapes. However, he found the artistic process itself more captivating than any specific subject matter. This realization led him to diversify his focus, exploring various subjects and honing painting techniques that convey a sense of unity and explore how memories are perceived.
As an eternal learner, Andrew expanded his artistic expertise by completing a Graphic Design diploma, enabling him to offer design services alongside his portfolio of commissioned and original artworks from his Vancouver studio. Since 2018, Andrew has actively contributed to multiple award-winning projects across diverse industries, including property development and film. Notably, his artwork has earned a place of honour along the 3 Road Skytrain Line in his hometown of Richmond, BC, where it will be on display from February to July 2024.
